Description

Aglaonema Red Edge Plant is evergreen perennial herbs with stems growing erect or decumbent and creeping. Stems that grow along the ground may root at the nodes. There is generally a crown of wide leaf blades which in wild species are often variegated with silver and green coloration. They are slow growing and will only need repotting every other year. Aglaonema are generally low-growing plants that will only very gradually reveal their trunks.

The Red Aglaonema is also one of the most stylish & this stunner shows off dark green leaves elegantly flushed with bright red or pink. Its colorful foliage makes red aglaonema a perfect home-decor accent.. Consider using it alongside or instead of a Poinsettia. Happily, this long-lived houseplant keeps its color and will look good for years!

Care Tips

Aglaonemas do best in warm, humid and bright conditions. The darker green varieties of aglaonema can grow in near shade, while the variegated varieties require brighter light. Do not expose any aglaonema to direct sunlight as it will burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly in the summer and mist the plant often to raise the humidity. During the winter, reduce watering but do not let the plant dry out completely.

Aglaonemas can be potted in well drained soil and should be fertilised twice a month during the growing season.
