It is an slow growing broadleaf evergreen shrub to 1-2 feet tall , distinctly upright branches, dense, formal and nearly as wide. Small, variegated leaves with inconspicuous flowers.Tiny leaves are green edged in white, ovate-lanceolate, 1.2-2.5 cm long

Environment

This shrub performs well in both full sun and full shade. It is very adaptable to both dry and moist locations, and should do just fine under typical garden conditions. It is not particular as to soil type or pH, and is able to handle environmental salt. It is highly tolerant of urban pollution and will even thrive in inner city environments, and will benefit from being planted in a relatively sheltered location

This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and can be pruned at anytime

Landscape Use

Variegated Boxleaf Japanese Euonymus is a dense multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a mounded form. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. The handsome, formal appearance to this compact evergreen shrub creates a perfect low hedge that requires minimal trimming

Foliage plants in general need access to bright indirect sunlight. Avoid keeping them in direct sunlight as it can cause leaves to burn due to extreme sunlight in the afternoon.

Make sure watering is done once the soil goes dry. Although the soil can remain moist, but it should not turn soggy/wet. Having drainage hole in the pots goes a long way in ensuring there is no water stagnating on top of the soil. You can spray the plant occasionally.

Fertilise the plant once a month in summers however Don't feed any fertiliser in winters. Giving fertiliser to the plant ensures nutrients going in which keeps it healthy. Keep an eye on the leaves of the plant to know any symptoms for watering or sunlight.
