Treasure Flowers -A Hot Summer Survivors selection!
Impatiens are one of best annuals you can find for shady areas. They start blooming within 3 months from seed, flaunting colors from bold oranges to soft pinks and pure whites to deep burgundies. Easy care and continuous blooming make Impatiens perfect for pots, hanging baskets, and containers (both indoors and out!). They're also lovely in the garden, lighting up any shady or semi-shady bed or border with a profusion of sparkling colors
Water requirement is average to high. Requires rich well drained soil & require part shade to full sun light.
Impatiens has excellent performers in landscapes and gardens, as well as mixed containers and hanging baskets
While sowing seeds make sure the soil is damp and not wet. Water the seeds as the soil starts to dry. It should always be moist, but never wet or muddy. Do not water the seeds if the soil is already moist to the touch, as overwatering your plant can be just as harmful as underwatering.
Keep the seedling tray in bright filtered light to begin with. Slowly introduce the plant to morning sun and bring it back in before the afternoon sun sets in. In a weeks time you can put it in direct sunlight.
