Jade plants grows best in full sun (but will tolerate part sun) and requires average to poor, sharply drained soil with a neutral pH, They thrive in rocky or sandy dry soil and readily survive on modest rainfall alone. Excessive moisture will cause root and stem rot, particularly if soil is not a fast-draining.
Description
Crassula Ovata Gollum is a rubbery-stemmed evergreen shrub with with interesting tubular leaves that have a reddish tint. They grow up to 3 feet (90 cm) tall and up to 2 feet (60) wide. It produces a wealth of tiny, starry white or pinkish flowers borne in small clusters
Gollum has a stout succulent, segmented, branching trunk, it can be shaped to create spectacular bonsai forms.
