Our Story – From a Family Passion to Your Garden
The Kabra family has always been close to nature. A love for flora and fauna was passed down across generations. A cherished family story tells how Shishir Kabra’s grandfather once rescued two leopard pups from a forest fire, raised them, and released them back into the wild – a testament to the family’s deep connection with nature.
Our home base, Kuchaman House in Ahmedabad, is a colorful sanctuary: hundreds of plants, curious artifacts, adopted pets, and even the occasional friendly neighborhood monkey. This vibrant ecosystem inspired the creation of myBageecha.
Why myBageecha Was Born
Shishir Kabra, our founder and CEO, wanted easy access to a wide range of plants for his own garden, beyond what local nurseries offered. When his sons, Sharad and Saumitra, returned from Mumbai, they shared the same challenge: sourcing quality plants and gardening products in urban areas was increasingly difficult.
