Each areole, present along the undulations of the ribs, has about 3 or 4 short and straight spines.. This species has small, white flowers tinged with pink.

Environment
Lemaireocereus Pruinosus is a very low maintenance plant. Like all cacti, this plant goes dormant during winter, so you should not water it during this time and keep it in a bright, cool position. During the growing season, water it as soon as the soil is thoroughly dry and keep it in a very well-lit spot, such as a south-facing window or outside in warm temperatures.
In mid-spring, feed with a diluted all-purpose fertilizer or one formulated for cactus and succulents.
