Product Description

100% Organic and Natural, this compost is made by ragpicking women via Parayavaran Mitra. It has a mix of Organic Carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potash and pH. Use for fruit, vegetables, flowers and herbs!

It is a 100% Natural and Gujarat Lab certified compost.

Hansaben used to work as a roadside ragpicker for 8 years, walking long miles in early hours, scavenging in dumpsites and alleyways, living a life without dignity, economically expolited, stuck in credit trap, with middlemen and treated as untouchable by a large section of society just to sustain her family. This is a story of about 2.5 million women in India.

Today, Hansaben is an uniformed waste manager of Parayavaran Mitra who collects segregated waste from doorsteps in a collection vehicle, creates and maintains the compost piles for wet waste and brings to you, completely natural and nutrition-rich compost.

Parayavaran Mitra is uplifting the life of many ragpickers like this and giving them a life of dignity and helping them in capacity building and holistic development.

To be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Needless to say, it should never be stored unprotected outside for any length of time. Rain will wash away a lot of the beneficial compounds (nutrients etc), and the sun can dry out the material too much as well.
