Environment

'Mystic Pink' flowers steadily with attractive pink and white blossoms. A strong bush with large, attractive leaves, it grows upright to six feet in the ground. It also grows well in containers and is somewhat heat- and sun-tolerant.. This medium sized tropical hibiscus is vigorous and blooms modestly over an extended period of time.
The glossy leaves of Mystic Pink are light to medium green and oval to somewhat wedge-shaped. Its flowers are large, radial and flattened, and may curve gracefully backward, even rolling in hot weather.
Hibiscus is heat tolerant and prefers neutral to acidic, well-drained soil and full sun.
Being a fast growing plant, hibiscus prefer well drained rich soil and regular watering. Thoroughly water to moisten the entire root-ball each time you water. Allow the soil to become slightly dry between watering approximately to a depth of between 1/2" deep for small containers to 1" deep for large containers. Never keep the soil soggy. Avoid using a saucer or empty any excess water from it 30-40 minutes after watering.
Ideal for container plant or mixed border. Hibuscus plants are almost constantly visited by a variety of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Dwarf Yellow Allamanda is a frost-tender, evergreen, tropical plant that is primarily grown as a climbing vine, but may also be pruned as a shrub. As a vine, it will grow rapidly to 20’ inch. Features clusters of yellow, trumpet-shaped, single or double flowers with white throat markings and leathery, wavy-margined, obovate, light green leaves (4-6” long) that appear in whorls of 3-4 or in pairs along the stems. Blooms throughout the summer to first frost.

Amethyst Stars is very attractive bushy, small to medium size shrub, everblooming with bright pinkish-lavender or off-pink 1" five-petaled flowers resemble stars, hence the common name Shooting Stars. Requires frequent pruning, otherwise becomes leggy. Lower leaves tend to drop, but when pruned, new growth forms nice dense shrub.
This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds.
