Description
Anemones are very small bulbs which produce daisy-like flowers. These plants are part of the Ranunculaceae family and are known for their colorful, delicate flowers.
Anemone Mount Everest Bulbs produce stunning, snow-white double blooms with delicate, daisy-like petals and contrasting light sage green centres. The flower has broad, smooth-edged petals, giving it a delicate yet bold look, while the dark stamen at its center serves as a dramatic focal point. This plant typically grows to 8-12 inches in height, with blooms ranging from 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
Environment
Anemones require full sun to partial shade and thrive in fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged and soak the corms in water for 4-6 hours before planting. Plant the corms 1-2 inches deep with the pointed end facing down, spaced 3-4 inches apart. For optimal growth, use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer at planting time.
Landscape Use
Anemones create great groundcovers and borders in full and partial sun areas.
