The Chinese fan palm, or fountain palm, is a hardy, slow-growing tree that derives its nickname from the fountain-like way its leaves droop down from the crown. This is among the tougher species of palm.
The perfect spot for the fountain Palm therefore should be bright with a little sun in early morning or late afternoon. Any shaded type room will suffice with indirect sunlight. Needs good drainage. Underwatering a fountain Palm is better than overwatering. Water well then wait until the surface of the soil has dried out, at which point water well again.. Spraying a water mist is advisable to improve humidity & keep away Red Spider Mite
Suitable for Container, Rock Garden & Xeriscaping
Palms love bright filtered or indirect sunlight. Palms can suffer from too much or too little light. Keep them in the balcony or near a window with bright light. Use fertiliser sparingly in summers only.
