High-Strength Neem Extract for Pest Control
Neem Oil is a naturally occurring organic fungicide, insecticide, and miticide obtained from the seeds of the neem tree. The oil is extracted from neem seeds and leaves.
Multiple Mode of Action
As a repellent for mites
- Aphids
- Mealybugs
- Scale
- Whiteflies
As a fungicide useful for fungi, mildew & rust
- Root Rot
- Black Spot
- Sooty Mold
Area of Application
Neem Oil acts as an anti-feedant when insects come in contact with or ingest it. Using a surfactant (spreader/sticker) when applying Neem Oil will increase spray coverage.
Neem functions as a hormone disruptor and growth regulator to affected insects, preventing normal development by blocking hormone releases that trigger growth and maturation.
Method of Use for 0.5% Neem Oil Spray
- Dilute one tablespoon (5 ml) of myBageecha Neem Oil in one litre of warm water, or adjust for concentrated dose.
- Add 1/2 tsp of surfactant Agroovant (sticking & wetting activator) to increase coverage.
- Shake well so Neem Oil dissolves with water in presence of Agroovant (soap solution).
- Apply neem oil only in indirect light or evening to avoid foliage burn. Do not use in extreme temperatures or on stressed plants.
- Use spray as needed or weekly for prevention, especially during monsoon season.
- Concentration of 0.5–1% is common for general use; 2% sprays may be used for stronger control.
Caution
- Always test the neem oil spray on a small area before full application.
- Spray on a limited part of the plant first, observe for 24 hours, then proceed if no adverse effects occur.
Storage
- Keep in a dry, cool place.
- Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat.
- Store Neem Oil safely to avoid ingestion by children or pets.
