Description

Prince of Orange or Tropical Sunrise is a philodendron hybrid that grows up to 2 feet tall. It is self-heading rather than vining, with the large leaves growing from a center base. The older leaves fall off, making way for new growth. A compact philodendron with unique foliage color. New leaves open a bright copper-orange and mature to a soft green. The perfect addition to a tropical landscape or for indoor use

Environment

Philodendron Tropical Sunrise is one of the easiest of all house plants to grow. It is very vigorous grower that can take a wide range of conditions. Grow Lemon Lime philodendron in well-draining, moist, fertile soils in partial shade. Avoid alkaline soil at all cost. Too much light and the leaves become more pale or simply dry and brown. Too low humidity or soil moisture can cause leaf browning, too, but also note that philodendrons do not like soggy or cold soils.

During growing, fertilise with slow-release fertilizer or use a 20-20-20 liquid fertilizer at half-strength every 2 weeks.

Landscape Uses

Tropical Sunrise philodendron is a fantastic under story plant in shady gardens in warm, frost-free regions. It is also an excellent houseplant in bright, warm indoor spaces.

Eliminates

Formaldehyde, benzene, trichloroethylene, xylene, ammonia, and more

Caution

Parts of plant are poisonous if ingested.  Philodendrons are especially poisonous to dogs and cats.
