Rich Pink Blooms with a Pure White Star-Shaped Centre
Rain Lily 'Pink Nadia' is a beautiful flowering bulb belonging to the Amaryllidaceae family and native to the tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas. This elegant Zephyranthes variety is admired for its compact clump-forming habit, graceful grass-like foliage, and reliable blooming after rainfall. Its vibrant flowers, easy-care nature, and excellent adaptability make it an ideal choice for gardens, balconies, patios, and decorative containers.
Pink Nadia produces elegant star-shaped flowers in a rich rosy-pink shade, beautifully complemented by a striking pure white star radiating from the centre and highlighted with bright golden-yellow stamens. The vivid contrast creates a fresh, eye-catching display against the slender green foliage. Growing to approximately 15–25 cm in height with a spread of 10–15 cm, this charming variety flowers profusely during the monsoon and post-monsoon season, often bursting into bloom within days of rainfall. Whether planted in borders, rock gardens, or decorative pots, Pink Nadia adds long-lasting seasonal colour with very little maintenance.
Environment
Sunlight: Thrives in full sun to partial shade. At least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily promotes healthy growth and abundant flowering.
Watering: Water moderately during active growth, allowing the soil to drain well between watering. Reduce watering once the foliage naturally enters dormancy.
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Avoid prolonged waterlogging to maintain healthy bulbs.
Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing season with a balanced flowering fertilizer to encourage vigorous growth and repeat blooms.
