Rosa indica, commonly known as Desi Gulab or Chaitri Gulab, is an attractive flowering rose belonging to the Rosaceae family. Environment
Sunlight: Grow in full sun to provide strong light for healthy foliage and abundant flowering. Around 5–6 hours or more of direct sunlight is beneficial for good flowering.
Watering: Water regularly during active growth and flowering, allowing the upper layer of soil to dry slightly between watering. Avoid prolonged waterlogging around the roots.
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. A loose growing medium with good drainage supports healthy roots and vigorous growth.
Fertilizer: Feed periodically during active growth and flowering with a balanced rose fertilizer or suitable organic fertilizer to encourage healthy foliage and blooms.
