The Curry Tree, popularly known as Kadipatta, is a tropical aromatic plant valued for its fragrant curry leaves, an essential herb in South Asian cuisine. This low-maintenance tree produces sweetly scented white flowers followed by blue-black berries (seeds are not edible).

Although each type of herb has its own growing requirements, most herbs are unfussy plants. They prefer full sun and prosper in good, moderately fertile soil. And most require that the soil be well-drained.
