Description
Tillandsia ionantha pleiades airplant, is a species of bromeliad in the genus Tillandsia. I
"Pleiades" is the celestial star cluster. Ionantha pleiadesas is a small and compact cultivator. At flowering, the central bronze green leaves, lightly scurfed silver, turn scarlet red. Exerted violet flowers are 5cms long.
