Description
Boxwood is a very hardy plant and grows rapidly as well. These great characteristics make it a good tree to use as bonsai.
It's green, robust, slow growing shrub with very rich, leathery and glossy leaves. It does inconspicuous green flowers and interesting light cream rough distinctive bark

Environment
Boxwood prefers well-drained soil with slight acidity to slight alkalinity and dappled to partial shade.
Keep soil moist but not water logged. Over watering can lead to leafs turning yellow and falling off.
Feed every two weeks during the growing season and every 6 weeks during dormant periods. Use a balanced fertiliser through out the year with a high nitrogen fertiliser in spring - to help with the flush of new growth
