Description
Echinobivia Hybrid, Rainbow Bursts is named for the display of colorful flowers. This hybrid is a cross between an Echinopsis and a Lobivia.
A colony forming or solitary plant, it has a ball shape with pink buds. This plant has notched ribs and ribs which are centrally as well as radially located. This species produces funnel shaped flowers which open at night.
Environment
This species flourishes best in limestone along with good potting material. Requires moderate watering and should be completely drained during summers. Winters need less watering. Sunlight loving, these Cactus should be protected from the harsh sun but afternoon sunlight is good for their growth.
