Description
Mammillaria Bocasana is clustery cactus covered with bundles of silky white hairs, each of which surrounds a yellow-red hooked spine. Funnel-form flower is creamy white to pinkish in color. The fruit is cylindrical, rosy-pink to red in color and up to 2.5 cm long.
Environment
A rapidly growing species, M.Bocasana grows well under moderate tropical conditions. It requires regular watering during the summer season with minimal or no water in the winters. Outside full sun or afternoon shade is best for a healthy growth and should be kept in a bright spot, if inside. It easily flowers under proper conditions.
