Description
The Chinese fan palm, or fountain palm, is a hardy, slow-growing tree that derives its nickname from the fountain-like way its leaves droop down from the crown.This is among the tougher species of palm.
Environment
The perfect spot for the fountain Palm therefore should be bright with a little sun in early morning or late afternoon. Any shaded type room will suffice with indirect sunlight. Needs good drainage. Underwatering a fountain Palm is better than overwatering. Water well then wait until the surface of the soil has dried out, at which point water well again.. Spraying a water mist is advisable to improve humidity & keep away Red Spider Mite
