Description
Passiflora Caerulea is a vigorous evergreen climber. Its leaves are palmate, and its fragrant flowers are blue-white with a prominent fringe of coronal filaments in bands of blue, white, yellow, and brown.
This is a fast growing vine upto 10' to 20' which produces abundant flowers in winters and continues to flower on and off throught the year. Buttflies are extremly fond of Passion flowers. The ovoid orange fruit, growing to 6 cm is edible,
Environment
Full sun, a southern exposure, is necessary for optimum growth and flowering. If flowers fail to open, it is usually due to insufficient light.
Bring the soil to a state of visual dryness between waterings. When watering, thoroughly saturate the soil until a little water runs out of the bottom of the pot. Growing in a clay pot will help maintain a healthy root system
