The ajwain plant is very easy to grow. It requires full sun & moderate water with very good drainage. Excessive water can kill the plant. Special care should be taken during monsoon.
Ajwain is a small, erect, annual shrub with soft fine hairs. It has many branches of leafy stem which has 4-6 rays of flowers head, each bearing 6-16 flowers.The fruits are small egg-shaped pods, brown-gray in color.

Centratherum punctatum, commonly called Brazilian bachelor’s button, is a tender & perennial exotic cultivated garden herb that typically grows to 12-18” tall. It is a spreading ground cover which is highlighted by a long continuous April-September bloom of fluffy, button-shaped, lavender-blue flowers (to 1” wide). Larkdaisy will spread in the garden to 2-4’ wide or more. Stems are clad with simple, coarsely-toothed, oval to elliptic, olive green to pale green leaves (each to 2-3” long) with depressed veins. Leaves are pleasantly fragrant.
Easily grown in moist, fertile, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates some part shade.

Somalata, a divine plant which was used in Somayaga . This is twinning herb with tuberous roots. It looks almost leafless as the leaves are minute, in opposite pairs, very sparsely distributed in the bare stem. Leaves are small, fleshy and lance-shaped. Flowers are borne in few-flowered umbels. Flowers are large, goglet shaped, erect, beautifully variegated with yellow, green and purple. Mouth of the tube is much wider than other parts of the flowers. The united petals are light green in the lower half, dark green in the upper half.

Cissus quadrangularis or Hadjod is a succulent vine , which grows upto 1.5m long. It has quadrangular shaped branches with internodes and leathery edges. This species produces small yellow-white flowers as well as red globular berries.
Asthisamharaka is an ayurvedic herb used for strengthening bones and joints and promoting bone growth. It increases bone mineral density and enhances the rate of fracture healing. In addition to its uses in bone and joint disorders, it also used to treat loss of appetite, indigestion, hemorrhoid, intestinal worms, gout, internal bleeding, and leucorrhea. It also has aphrodisiac action due to which it is also used to improve men’s stamina, vigor, and strength.
