Product Description

Asparagus falcatus is a robust thorny creeper that has attractive white flowers and red berries. It grows well in shade, but will tolerate partial sunlight.

Asparagus Falcatus (Sicklethorn) is a fast-growing evergreen climbing shrub from the Asparagaceae family, native to Africa and parts of Asia. Known for its glossy, sickle-shaped dark green foliage, fragrant white flowers (Sept–Dec), and bright red berries, this hardy climber can grow up to 7 m tall and adds lush vertical greenery to any space.

It thrives in shade to partial sunlight and prefers moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Ideal as a decorative indoor or outdoor pot plant, trellis climber, or bird-friendly garden plant, Asparagus falcatus is low-maintenance and perfect for creating dense green coverage.

In general, ferns are low-maintenance and hardy, but they do require a bit of upkeep. Ferns require a lot of indirect bright light and not direct sunlight. You can keep it in balconies but make sure no direct sun falls on the leaves. As the ferns have fragile leaves, they tend to burn.

Ferns in general love humidity. You can spray in the air above the fern and let the mist settle on leaves. Most ferns like an evenly moist soil with regular waterings. Water them daily but just enough to keep the soil moist and not wet. Allowing the soil to dry out between waterings stresses these plants.
