Description
Japanese aucuba (Aucuba japonica) is an evergreen shrub that grows 6 to 10 feet (2-3 m.) tall with dark green glossy, leathery leaves splashed with bright yellow leathery leaves as much as 8 inches (20 cm.) long
Aucuba plant just looks similar to Dumb canes and other similar plants from a distance. The jagged edges of the oval leaves, confusing patterns, and luxurious lushness make it stand out among any plant.
Environment
Grows well in any moist but well-drained or well-drained in sun or partial shade. Suitable for use as a hedge. Chalky, Clay, Loamy, Sandy (will tolerate most soil types)
