Ram Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, is a sacred aromatic herb with broad green leaves and a strong natural fragrance. This variety grows as a compact, branched shrub about 30–60 cm tall and is widely valued in Indian homes for its medicinal, spiritual, and culinary significance.

Growing Conditions:
Ram Tulsi thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and moist, well-drained soil. Keep the soil consistently moist with regular watering, especially during summer. Light organic manure can enhance growth and aroma. Pruning flowers early helps maintain healthy leaf production.

Perfect for containers, balconies, patios, and kitchen windowsills, making it an excellent addition to home herbal gardens. 🌿

Although each type of herb has its own growing requirements, most herbs are unfussy plants. They prefer full sun and prosper in good, moderately fertile soil. And most require that the soil be well-drained.

Water the plants everyday and keep the soil moist. Make sure excess water is drained out. Trim the plants in the summers to keep them in good shape. You can keep the herbs on a kitchen windowsill provided you are getting good sunlight there.
