The Gladioli corms had arrived fairly quickly and well packed in a cardboard box. Some of the corms had started developing small roots and a few of them had started sprouting. Two bulbs had an infection of Botyritis rot. Before planting, treated all corms with Bavistin.
Five of the corms have sprouted. Sprouting of the rest is awaited. How the flowers develop, the number of florets on the stalk, the colour of the etc, I will come to know after a while only.
Received a healthy plant but with the white flower variety instead of blue
